Cranberry Pomegranate Prosecco Cocktail

This Cranberry Pomegranate Prosecco cocktail is about the quickest cocktail to make in the history of bubbly cocktails.  I’m not a fan of having to muddle this and that and then add this and that to make a delicious drink so this one is right up my alley.  All you need to do is combine cranberry pomegranate juice and prosecco and drink.  Easy as that.

Coupe Glasses

Whenever I make a cocktail that’s easy like this, I like to fancy it up with garnish and/or glassware.  Since it’s Christmas time, I am using my husband’s grandmother’s coupe glasses.  These coupe glasses are so beautiful and delicate, and I feel so honored to have them.

My husband’s grandparents lived in a pretty old house in Asheville, NC  on a large piece of property and I like to think of Oriel playing bridge with her friends and drinking bubbly out of these glasses.  I don’t use them that often because I’m terrified of breaking them, but I do bring them out at Christmas for various parties and occasions.

Coupe glasses are making a comeback too which makes me happy.  They aren’t ideal for Champagne because they don’t hold the bubbles like a flute, but for bubbly cocktails, they are fabulous.  Plus, you just feel fancy drinking out of one.

Cranberry Garnish

If you want added flair, garnish this cranberry pomegranate prosecco cocktail with sugar-coated cranberries.  Fresh cranberries are in season, and in the grocery stores right now, and I find myself using them for all kinds of garnishes.  Get yourself a large toothpick, poke three cranberries on the end and then roll in sugar.

For other fun holiday cocktails, try my cranberry bourbon mule or my festive rosemary prosecco mule.
